• Kinesis sensor measures the distance by calculating the time the light takes to travel to an object and reflect back to the sensor in order to actuate the faucet. Traditional IR sensors only detects the amount light reflection of an object that is in the sensor range. In traditional IR sensors the sensor range can be affected by the environmental distortions such as color or the texture of the object. Kinesis technology sensor is smaller than traditional sensors therefore they can be placed in faucet spout which eliminates false actuations and provides clean design similar to manual faucet.
